A Benefit for Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Chatham County

 

March 14th , 7-9 pm Central Carolina Community College, Pittsboro.

 

 Event is free and open to the community.

 

 

 

Get ready for a good time Falling in Love with Everything is not your ordinary how-to-book, although Jobe tells us early on that it?s about staying alive.  Jobe says of himself, ??I?m a guy who writes and writes books, songs, newspaper columns and sermons. My cousin told me when I was 13, ?You?re like a blender where somebody left the lid off; stuff just comes flying out.?

 

Couple Jobe with lifelong friend, Gary Phillips, writer, former County Commissioner, local naturalist, activist and favorite person of many in the Triangle, and you have a wonderful evening of truth, laughter, song, and shared love of the community.  . Readings & Songs include; The Best of Radio Free Bubba, coauth,"andored 365 Ways To Criticize The Preacher, A Short Novel. Then top if off with the Sacrificial Poets and you get the cherry and whip cream hot fudge by Gary Phillips, and The Return of Radio Free Bubbasunday of love, wisdom, and insight.

 

Books will be available for purchase and signatures, and $5.00 of each book sale will be donated to Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Chatham.
